Our laboratories, field sites and clinical facilities enable us to carry out the full spectrum of biomedical, clinical and public health research.
Our well-equipped and up-to-date laboratory facilities enable us to carry out a wide range of microbiological, molecular genetic and other studies.
We run a range of field sites, including three Health and Demographic Surveillance System sites in Matlab, Chakaria and in Urban Slums. These urban and rural field sites support an extensive programme of surveillance and population-based and health systems research.
We provide clinical services at a range of clinical facilities, including Dhaka Hospital and Matlab Hospital. This clinical infrastructure provides a platform for a large programme of clinical research, particularly in infectious disease.
