Train with us

icddr,b is a center of excellence which stands on the three pillar of research, healthcare service and education. In addition to a dedicated team of trainers, researchers of icddr,b  often perform overlapping functions to realize this mandate. For decades, icddr,b roots its capacity building program not only in its constitutional underpinnings, but also in its role as a source of identity.

We are committed to building local, regional and international capacity in research, public health and clinical medicine. We utilize unique facilities including the field sites, hospitals and state-of the-arts laboratories, and most importantly the opportunities arising out of its priority research activities, and its rich and varied services, to provide research and other relevant trainings.

Capacity-building takes multiple forms, including developing the local science base, enhancing the knowledge and skills of medical practitioners and public health specialists, and more generally equipping government and international healthcare officials to utilize research-generated evidence.

Since 1978, from 87 countries, more than 65000 participants (researchers, physicians, laboratory personnel, managers, trainers, faculties and student etc.) attended our training/education programs.

Our work spans all these areas:
