We play an important role in investigating disease outbreaks in Bangladesh and in supporting humanitarian relief efforts globally.
Our wide-ranging expertise in infectious and other diseases enables us to make key contributions to outbreak investigation and control nationally and internationally.
We are regularly invited to join multidisciplinary teams set up to investigate outbreaks of infectious or other disease in Bangladesh, generally in partnership with the Government of Bangladesh’s Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research.
For many years, we have made major contributions to global humanitarian relief efforts, particularly in cholera control. Our focus now is on enhancing countries’ preparedness so they are better placed to limit the impact of disasters.
