I am interested in maternal and child health and nutrition, especially in the areas on how to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality. Currently I am involved with number of intervention programs which primarily focus on reduction of maternal and newborn death. Also I am involve with a feasibility study where we are integrating both conditional cash transfer and community based counseling to successfully promote healthy behaviour for mother and child using mobile technology in rural areas of Bangladesh.Cost effectiveness is another area of my interest and most recently I am also involved with another project which will do the cost effectiveness study of Ponseti method of clubfoot treatment in Bangladesh.
